Tonto Dike to drop singles...Hmm

Look, am not trying to criticize but what is this thing with Nollywood actors turning to singers and rappers eh?

It’s not out of place to see a musician turn to an actor or vice versa but what is annoying is when they do a bad job of it.

Genevive is a very sensible woman. When she released that music back then, it didn’t receive the accolades and exposure she expected, so she quietly went back to polish the acting talent God gave her. And boy, did she shine that talent with the kind of movies she churned out!

Omotola joined the band wagon and dropped several singles…even that one she was ‘rigmarolling’ in a bath tub with an oyinbo boy. I didn’t see any special thing about the song(s) and to me; she is a much better actress than she is a singer.

Before I could say Jack Robinson, Jim Iyke turned rapper. I almost fainted when I heard that news and prayed for it to be a lie; but what a shock I got when I saw the video. That you can form bad ass, jump up and down and speak black-American English on set a movie doesn’t mean you can rap…
Now, I hear Tonto Dike is dropping two singles, ‘Its Ova’ and ‘Hi’. I honestly pray she does a good job at it because her Twitter followers have shown her they await her ‘fumbling’.

They criticized the move bringing to mind the failures of some other Nollywood acts. Na so the babe vex o! She began to spit out curse words at her ‘opponents’. The thing just turn to fight for Twitter o!

These are some of the words she used, “fuck face, bitch, silly dumb, poor and needy”. As if that one no do am, she begin speak English wey to read tire me sef!
Oya read on!

“All ya wabbling about actors getting into music, its best you shut the fuck up and wait for what we got."
Another tweet read "Bitch, I don't have a degree, but I do have a bank account fat and shapeless enough to make your parents assassin you."
"Well still shut the fuck up and wait for my music. Well you're silly dumb."
This broad sure has a mouth on her!

Fingers crossed as I wait to listen to her songs...
